Live Life Villages Hinterland Bowls Challenge 2012 is LaunchedMichael Fallon, Managing Director of Live Life Villages announced today that Live Life Villages was again proudly sponsoring the Hinterland Bowls Challenge for 2012. Michael commented "after the fantastic response to the 2011 Challenge, the Challenge has been expanded in 2012 to involve 8 clubs on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Live Life Villages welcomes the opportunity to support this active participation in an intergenerataional sport such as Bowls". Clubs competing for the 2012 trophy and prize extend from Woodford in the south to Kenilworth, with clubs initially spilt into two group. Each Club will host a round in April, competing against the other clubs in their group, with the two Clubs achieving the highest points then advancing to the Finals to be held at Mapleton Bowls Club on Saturday May 12, 2012. Live Life Villages Hinteland Bowls Challenge 2012Following the success of the inaugral Live Life Villages Hinterland Bowls Challenge in 2011, planning is already underway for the 2012 Challenge. After discussion with the 3 Clubs involved in 2011, it has been agreed that the 2012 Challenge will be extended to 8 clubs, by invitation. 30 Nov 2011 It was wonderful for the Hinterland Bowls Clubs to be supported by a Community Business, in particular Maleny Grove.. a Live Life Village.
The 2011 Live Life Villages Hinterland Bowls Challenge was keenly contested through the preliminary rounds and Finals at Maleny Bowls Club on 7th May 2011.
Supporters and visitors joined in to support their local team, enjoy the day and see what the game is about.
