TO ALL BROOKLAND RESIDENTS

Christmas is fast approaching now, not long to go until Santa arrives in town.  Of course with this season comes lots of busy times and dates to remember so we will set out the dates and what is happening for everyone to add to their calendar.

Thank you to all who attended our Annual Meeting and Open Forum on Monday, it was great to see so many Residents there.

As was mentioned at our Open Forum , we are planning next year to have regular morning teas here on the 1st Friday of every month and invite potential new Residents to the Village, each month there will be a guest speaker or theme that we believe would be of interest to all Residents.  So if you would like to invite family members or friends to these events please don't hesitate to do so.  There will be a calendar circulated in the New Year detailing our current bookings.

UPCOMING HOUSEKEEPING NOTES

Please be advised that as Christmas is fast approaching, things to remember.

Palm Room - Meals
There will be no Roast Dinner served on Tuesday 13 December due to our Christmas dinner, however there will be soup, salad or sandwiches available to residents on request, at a cost of $3.00 (no charge for serviced apartments)No bus service to shopping centres on Thursday 8 December

Friday Fish & Chips lunch—Last day this year for this lunch will be Friday 16/12/11. Will recommence on Friday 6/1/12
Tuesday Roast Lunch –Last day this year for this lunch will be Tuesday 20/12/11. Will recommence on Tuesday 10/1/12

Village Staff over Christmas Period
There will be no staff available on Sunday 25 December (Christmas Day).  There will be no lunches available in the Palm room on that day— however, we can deliver to you the day before, a roast meal for you to have at your convenience (Please inform reception if you wish to order by 16 December) - $12.00 per head (no charge service apartments)  Soup, Traditional Christmas Roast Dinner, plum pudding

Staff holidays
All staff will be unavailable on all public holidays except Kitchen/environmental staff who will be available between  10.00am—2.00pm.

All staff will be available at Brookland over the Christmas  Period (except for Public holidays) with the exception of
Judy will be away 28. 29 & 30 December
Bill will be away 28, 29 & 30 December
Chris will be away 23 December—3rd January

There will be no Village bus available on Public Holidays
