Can I have a say in the design, construction or decor of my new villa? If you sign a Resident Agreement Contract prior to construction you can have the option of choosing from two colour design themes for your villa. Depending on the variations you may be able to make some changes after construction is complete. Any extra costs involved in these changes are charged to the resident.
Can I alter my unit? Alterations to your unit can be undertaken, provided they are requested in writing and approved by Live Life Villages.
Can I bring a pet to the Village? Live Life Villages will asses the suitability of a small pet to be brought with you when you first arrive on a case-by-case basis. Approved pets must be kept under control at all times and must not cause inconvenience to other residents. Unfortunately pets cannot be replaced if they stray or pass on.
Can family members or friends stay with me? Yes, for short term, however not on a permanent basis. We do ask you to notify reception and your neighbours if you have anyone staying with you.
Do I need to prove that I/we are independent? How is this achieved? Normally there is no need to prove your independence unless you have a condition which may affect your ability to live independently, in which case we may request a doctor's letter certifying your ability to live independently. You are obliged to disclose any disability that would prevent you from living and independent lifestyle within the Village.
Are there 'panic' buttons in the unit in case of emergency?

Each unit is fitted with a personal emergency response system. Once activated, the call is responded to by an appropriate person who accesses the issue and your needs. They then follow through to arrange the appropriate medical or maintenance response.

If you do not respond, an ambulance will be called to attend and the respondent will instruct the Ambulance how to obtain a key to gain access into your unit. The key to provide access to units in an emergency is held in a secure location within the village.

I/We like to travel, what happens to my unit while I'm away? Providing you tell us when you are going away, our staff will keep an eye on external doors and windows of your unit while you are away. If you authorise us to do so, we will also check the internal area of your unit and refrigeration after an major storms or interruption to electricity supply.
What happens if I pass away or can no longer care for myself?

If you become incapacitated and no longer able to live independently, you are required to give 1 month notice to surrender your lease.

General Service Charges are payable for a period noted by your PID. Payout of the exit entitlement is on the basis noted above.

Are service providers that I/we use now still available when I move?

Yes all services, including Blue Nurses, Meals on Wheels, etc, that are available to you in the community are available at our villages providing there is a service provider in the area.

We recommend you speak with our staff as to the services you require as Live Life Villages is able to assist in providing several personal services on a user pays basis.

Can my grandchildren join me to use the community facilities? Yes. Providing they are well behaved and under adult supervision at all times they are welcome to join you to use the community facilities. Children must not cause disturbance or inconvenience to other residents.
